Texas High School Basketball - Frenship thwarts New Home
December 9, 2022: New Home, TX 79383 The Frenship Tigers (Wolfforth, TX) basketball knocked off the host New Home Leopards (New Home, TX), 66-48 in Friday's non-league test.
The Tigers (13-3) will now prepare for their test against Portales (Portales, NM). The Rams go into the non-league test with a 4-2 record. In their last test, Portales notched a victory over Colorado (Colorado City, TX), 49-28, in a non-league test.
The Leopards now own a 12-3 record. They play next when they host Ropes for a 2A Region I District 5 outing on Tuesday, December 13. New Home will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 36-34 non-league win over Whiteface (Whiteface, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 13-2.
