California High School Basketball - Western nudges Garden Grove
December 9, 2022: Anaheim, CA 92804 Western Pioneers (Anaheim, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Garden Grove Argonauts (Garden Grove, CA), 50-46 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Western upgrades its record to 2-5 on the season. The Pioneers host Norco (Norco, CA) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 4-7. Norco won 57-30 in their recent non-league bout against Redlands (Redlands, CA)
Next up, the Argonauts clash with the Ocean View Seahawks (Huntington Beach, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 10. Garden Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Seahawks go into the bout with a 9-2 record after their 60-22 non-league win over Santa Ana Valley (Santa Ana, CA).
