Virginia High School Basketball - West Springfield knocked off by James Madison
December 9, 2022: Vienna, VA 22181 The James Madison Warhawks basketball team scored 42 points and held the visiting West Springfield Spartans to 31 in the Warhawks non-league triumph on Friday.
The Warhawks now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Yorktown for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 13. James Madison will meet a Patriots team coming off a 50-29 non-league loss to Oakton (Vienna, VA). The Patriots record now stands at 1-4.
The Spartans (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Fairfax (Fairfax, VA). The Lions enter the District 4 contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Fairfax was defeated by McLean (McLean, VA), 50-31, in a non-league contest.
