December 9, 2022: San Diego, CA 92101 The King-Chavez Community Lions basketball team (San Diego, CA), was toppled 32-13 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Mountain Empire Redhawks (Pine Valley, CA)
The Redhawks now possess a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gompers Prep Academy for a Patriot battle on Tuesday, December 13. Mountain Empire will confront a Eagles team coming off a 29-19 non-league loss to Del Lago Academy (Escondido, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-4.
The Lions (0-2) will now prepare for their battle against High Tech CV (Chula Vista, CA). The Bruins come into the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.
