Texas High School Basketball - Legacy Christian Academy can't hold off Nederland
December 9, 2022: Beaumont, TX 77713 The Nederland Bulldogs basketball team scored 37 points and held the host Legacy Christian Academy Warriors to 35 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Friday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sterling for a 5A Region III District 17 contest on Tuesday, December 13. Nederland will battle a Rangers team coming off a 51-31 non-league win over Channelview (Channelview, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 3-11.
The Warriors (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Sabine Pass (Sabine Pass, TX). The Sharks enter the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Sabine Pass was nudged by Bob Hope (Port Arthur, TX), 48-34, in a non-league contest.
