The Pewitt Brahmas basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the host Maud Cardinals to 36 in the Brahmas non-league victory on Friday.

The Brahmas now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hooks for a 3A Region II District 14 contest on Tuesday, December 13. Pewitt will battle a Hornets team coming off a 46-45 non-league win over Liberty-Eylau (Texarkana, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 14-4.

Next up, the Cardinals play the Foreman Gators (Foreman, AR) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Maud will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record.
