December 9, 2022: McMurray, PA 15317 In Friday's non-league outing, the Peters Township Indians (McMurray, PA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Montour Spartans (McKees Rocks, PA), by a count of 64-37.
The Indians (3-1) will now prepare for their outing against West Mifflin (West Mifflin, PA). The Titans go into the non-league outing with a 2-2 record. In their last outing, West Mifflin smashed Connellsville (Connellsville, PA), 58-39, in a non-league outing.
The Spartans now hold a 0-5 record. They play next when they host Trinity for a WPIAL 5A 4 outing on Tuesday, December 13. Montour will clash with a Hillers squad coming off a 49-41 non-league win over Bishop Canevin (Pittsburgh, PA). The Hillers record now stands at 2-1.
