Oxford Wildcats (Oxford, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting North Branch Broncos (North Branch, MI), 38-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Oxford upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Wildcats host Brandon (Ortonville, MI) to play the Blackhawks in a non-league bout on Monday, December 12. The Blackhawks go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Brandon lost 69-16 in their recent league bout against Lake Fenton (Linden, MI)

Next up, the Broncos play the Almont Raiders (Almont, MI) in a Blue Water Area bout, on Tuesday, December 13. North Branch will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 47-41 non-league loss to Port Huron Northern (Port Huron, MI).
