North Carolina High School Basketball - North Buncombe nips Robbinsville

December 9, 2022: Robbinsville, NC 28771

North Buncombe Black Hawks (Weaverville, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Robbinsville Black Knights (Robbinsville, NC), 47-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, North Buncombe upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Black Hawks travel to A.C. Reynolds (Asheville, NC) to play the Rockets in a 3A/4A Conference 53 bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Rockets go into the bout with a record of 2-3. A.C. Reynolds lost 47-35 in their recent non-league bout against Northern Guilford (Greensboro, NC)

Next up, the Black Knights play the Cherokee Braves (Cherokee, NC) in a 1A Conference 43 bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Robbinsville will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Braves go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 56-40 non-league loss to Ada (Ada, OK).
