Oregon High School Basketball - Nyssa tops Stanfield
December 9, 2022: Nyssa, OR 97913 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Nyssa Bulldogs (Nyssa, OR) and the visiting Stanfield Tigers (Stanfield, OR), saw Nyssa's basketball squad knock off Stanfield by a count of 50-42.
With the victory, Nyssa upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host New Plymouth (New Plymouth, ID) to play the Pilgrims in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 13. The Pilgrims come into the challenge with a record of 3-5. New Plymouth lost 43-22 in their recent league challenge against Nampa Christian (Nampa, ID)
Next up, the Tigers play the Riverside Pirates (Boardman, OR) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 10. Stanfield will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 51-16 non-league win over Grant Union (John Day, OR).
