In Friday's non-league outing, the Riverside Warriors (Belle, WV) basketball squad edged the host St. Joseph Central Irish (Huntington, WV), by a margin of 45-41.

The Warriors (3-2) will now prepare for their outing against Lincoln County (Hamlin, WV). The Panthers go into the non-league outing with a 0-3 record. In their last outing, Lincoln County was tipped by Wayne (Wayne, WV), 51-26, in a league outing.

The Irish now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Notre Dame for a Southern Ohio I outing on Saturday, December 10. St. Joseph Central will clash with a Titans squad coming off a 74-8 league win over East (Sciotoville, OH). The Titans record now stands at 4-0.
