California High School Basketball - Taft overwhelms South

December 9, 2022: Bakersfield, CA 93304

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Taft Wildcats (Taft, CA) and the host South Spartans (Bakersfield, CA), saw Taft's basketball squad wallop South by a count of 59-18.

With the victory, Taft upgrades its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Dos Pueblos (Goleta, CA) to play the Chargers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 10. The Chargers come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Dos Pueblos lost 57-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Righetti (Santa Maria, CA)

Next up, the Spartans play the Chavez Titans (Delano, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 10. South will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Titans come into the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 58-31 non-league loss to North (Bakersfield, CA).
