Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Steel Valley ripped by Yough
December 9, 2022: Herminie, PA 15637 The Yough Cougars basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting Steel Valley Ironmen to 17 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.
The Cougars now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Serra Catholic for a non-league contest on Monday, December 12. Yough will battle a Eagles team coming off a 53-45 non-league win over Elizabeth Forward (Elizabeth, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-0.
The Ironmen (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Carlynton (Carnegie, PA). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Carlynton was routed by McGuffey (Claysville, PA), 54-20, in a non-league contest.
