Virginia High School Basketball - Westmoreland knocked off by King George
December 9, 2022: King George, VA 22485 The King George Foxes basketball team scored 24 points and held the visiting Westmoreland Eagles to 12 in the Foxes non-league triumph on Friday.
The Foxes now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Essex for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 15. King George will meet a Trojans team coming off a 47-16 non-league loss to Caroline (Milford, VA). The Trojans record now stands at 0-1.
The Eagles (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Sussex Central (Sussex, VA). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
