Virginia High School Basketball - Jefferson Forest fells Altavista
December 9, 2022: Forest, VA 24551 Jefferson Forest Cavaliers (Forest, VA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Altavista Colonels (Altavista, VA), 37-20 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Jefferson Forest upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to Glass (Lynchburg, VA) to play the Hilltoppers in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 15. The Hilltoppers go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Glass won 54-25 in their recent non-league bout against Amherst County (Amherst, VA)
Next up, the Colonels play the Rustburg Red Devils (Rustburg, VA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 14. Altavista will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Red Devils go into the bout with a 5-0 record after their 53-24 non-league win over Liberty (Bedford, VA).
