North Carolina High School Basketball - Bessemer City trounces Lake Norman
December 9, 2022: Bessemer City, NC 28016 The Bessemer City Yellow Jackets (Bessemer City, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Lake Norman Wildcats (Mooresville, NC), 101-17 in Friday's non-league test.
The Yellow Jackets (2-4) will now prepare for their test against Huss (Gastonia, NC). The Huskies go into the non-league test with a 4-1 record. In their last test, Huss was trounced by Crest (Shelby, NC), 40-39, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to South Iredell for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 13. Lake Norman will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 37-35 non-league loss to North Iredell (Olin, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 4-3.
