Illinois High School Basketball - Christ the King overwhelms Chicago University
December 9, 2022: Chicago, IL 60637 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Christ the King Gladiators (Chicago, IL) and the host Chicago University Maroons (Chicago, IL), saw Christ the King's basketball squad wallop Chicago University by a tally of 47-16.
With the victory, Christ the King improves its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Gladiators host Lindblom (Chicago, IL) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 10. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 4-4. Lindblom won 33-30 in their recent league challenge against Longwood (Chicago, IL)
Next up, the Maroons play the Elgin Academy Hilltoppers (Elgin, IL) in a challenge, on Wednesday, December 14. Chicago University will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
