The Owyhee Braves basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the host Bishop Union Broncos to 56 in the Braves non-league victory on Saturday.

The Braves now sport a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Virginia City for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 14. Owyhee will battle a Muckers team coming off a 73-27 non-league win over Pahranagat Valley (Alamo, NV). The Muckers record now stands at 4-3.

The Broncos (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against Kern Valley (Lake Isabella, CA). The Broncs come into the High Desert contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Kern Valley was nudged by California City (California City, CA), 50-42, in a non-league contest.
