Alabama High School Basketball - Mountain Brook overwhelms Blount
December 9, 2023: Eight Mile, AL 36610 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Mountain Brook Spartans (Birmingham, AL) and the host Blount Leopards (Eight Mile, AL), saw Mountain Brook's basketball squad wallop Blount by a tally of 98-53.
With the victory, Mountain Brook improves its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Chelsea (Chelsea, AL) to confront the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 15. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 3-10.
Next up, the Leopards confront the Williamson Lions (Mobile, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. Blount will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 62-57 non-league win over Moss Point (Moss Point, MS).
