Minnesota High School Basketball - Woodbury crushes Centennial
December 9, 2023: Woodbury, MN 55125 Woodbury Royals (Woodbury, MN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Centennial Cougars (Circle Pines, MN), 74-53 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Woodbury upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Royals host Irondale (New Brighton, MN) to clash with the Knights in a AAAA Section 5 bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Irondale lost 80-63 in their recent non-league bout against Osseo (Osseo, MN)
Next up, the Cougars clash with the New Prague Trojans (New Prague, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Centennial will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 75-51 league loss to Owatonna (Owatonna, MN).
