Missouri High School Basketball - Central can't hold off Vianney
December 9, 2023: Kirkwood, MO 63122 The Vianney Golden Griffins basketball team scored 73 points and restricted the visiting Central Bulldogs to 67 in the Golden Griffins non-league victory on Saturday.
The Golden Griffins now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jackson for a non-league contest on Friday, December 15. Vianney will battle a Fighting Indians team coming off a 61-41 league win over Dexter (Dexter, MO). The Fighting Indians record now stands at 4-3.
The Bulldogs (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Carthage (Carthage, MO). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Carthage edged Webb City (Webb City, MO), 70-59, in a league contest.
