Columbian Tornadoes (Tiffin, OH) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Ross Little Giants (Fremont, OH), 53-50 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Columbian upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Tornadoes host Huron (Huron, OH) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 2-0. Huron won 56-50 in their recent non-league bout against Keystone (La Grange, OH)

Next up, the Little Giants play the Anthony Wayne Generals (Whitehouse, OH) in a Northern Lakes bout, on Thursday, December 14. Ross will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
