December 9, 2023: Columbus, MT 59019 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Columbus Cougars (Columbus, MT) and the visiting Fairview Warriors (Fairview, MT), saw Columbus's basketball squad overcome Fairview by a tally of 49-38.
With the victory, Columbus improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Cougars host Sweet Grass County (Big Timber, MT) to play the Sheepherders in a B District 4 challenge on Saturday, December 16. The Sheepherders come into the challenge with a record of 0-3.
Next up, the Warriors play the Culbertson Cowboys (Culbertson, MT) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 19. Fairview will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
