Minnesota High School Basketball - Stewartville holds off Delano
December 9, 2023: Stewartville, MN 55976 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Stewartville Tigers (Stewartville, MN) and the visiting Delano Tigers (Delano, MN), saw Stewartville's basketball squad hold off Delano by a tally of 62-58.
With the victory, Stewartville improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Faribault (Faribault, MN) to confront the Falcons in a AAA Section 1 challenge on Thursday, December 14. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Faribault won 77-66 in their recent league challenge against Byron (Byron, MN)
Next up, the Tigers confront the Perham Yellowjackets (Perham, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 15. Delano will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 60-46 league loss to Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton (Glyndon, MN).
