The Orono Spartans basketball team scored 74 points and restricted the host Eastview Lightning to 68 in the Spartans non-league victory on Saturday.

The Spartans now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eden Prairie for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 16.

The Lightning (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Washburn (Minneapolis, MN). The Millers come into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record.
