December 9, 2023: Newcastle, OK 73065 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Newcastle Racers (Newcastle, OK) and the visiting Eisenhower Eagles (Lawton, OK), saw Newcastle's basketball squad hold off Eisenhower by a count of 58-51.
With the victory, Newcastle upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Racers travel to Blanchard (Blanchard, OK) to play the Lions in a Western - North challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 4-1. Blanchard lost 61-50 in their recent non-league challenge against Perkins-Tryon (Perkins, OK)
Next up, the Eagles play the Edmond Santa Fe Wolves (Edmond, OK) in a 6A District 2 challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. Eisenhower will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 55-51 non-league win over Enid (Enid, OK).
