Texas High School Basketball - Lorenzo ripped by Estacado
December 9, 2023: Lorenzo, TX 79343 The Estacado Matadors basketball team scored 72 points and held the host Lorenzo Hornets to 32 in the Matadors non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Matadors now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Frenship for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12. Estacado will battle a Tigers team coming off a 55-54 non-league win over Southlake Carroll (Southlake, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 13-1.
The Hornets (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Whiteface (Whiteface, TX). The Antelopes enter the non-league contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Whiteface was routed by Robert Lee (Robert Lee, TX), 52-33, in a non-league contest.
