December 9, 2023: Cleveland, OH 44102 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Rittman Indians (Rittman, OH) and the host Garrett Morgan Falcons (Cleveland, OH), saw Rittman's basketball squad hold off Garrett Morgan by a tally of 50-46.
With the victory, Rittman improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Mapleton (Ashland, OH) to play the Mounties in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Mounties come into the challenge with a record of 2-0. Mapleton won 63-17 in their recent league challenge against New London (New London, OH)
Next up, the Falcons play the Glenville Tarblooders (Cleveland, OH) in a Senate challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. Garrett Morgan will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Tarblooders come into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 50-48 league win over Rhodes (Cleveland, OH).
