Texas High School Basketball - Georgetown thwarts Granbury
December 9, 2023: Granbury, TX 76048 The Georgetown Eagles (Georgetown, TX) basketball knocked off the host Granbury Pirates (Granbury, TX), 59-48 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Eagles (10-5) will now prepare for their test against Saginaw (Saginaw, TX). The Rough Riders go into the non-league test with a 9-2 record. In their last test, Saginaw notched a victory over Abilene (Abilene, TX), 40-34, in a non-league test.
The Pirates now own a 7-4 record. They play next when they host Richland for a non-league test on Monday, December 11. Granbury will encounter a Royals squad coming off a 79-47 non-league loss to Keller Central (Keller, TX). The Royals record now stands at 0-9.
