December 9, 2023: Poca, WV 25159 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Poca The Dots (Poca, WV) and the visiting Grafton Bearcats (Grafton, WV), saw Poca's basketball squad hold off Grafton by a tally of 56-52.
With the victory, Poca improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The The Dots host Greenbrier West (Charmco, WV) to confront the Cavaliers in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 15. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Bearcats confront the East Fairmont Bees (Fairmont, WV) in a Big Ten challenge, on Wednesday, December 13. Grafton will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Bees come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 69-58 non-league loss to Nitro (Nitro, WV).
