Pennsylvania High School Basketball - West York Area topped by Hempfield
December 9, 2023: York, PA 17404 The Hempfield Black Knights basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the host West York Area Bulldogs to 42 in the Black Knights non-league victory on Saturday.
The Black Knights now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Muhlenberg for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12. Hempfield will battle a Muhls team coming off a 85-62 non-league win over Williamsport (Williamsport, PA). The Muhls record now stands at 2-2.
The Bulldogs (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against York Suburban (York, PA). The Trojans come into the York-Adams 2 contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, York Suburban prevailed over Red Land (Lewisberry, PA), 50-33, in a non-league contest.
