Kentucky High School Basketball - Henry County fells Kentucky Country Day
December 9, 2023: New Castle, KY 40050 Henry County Wildcats (New Castle, KY) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Kentucky Country Day Bearcats (Louisville, KY), 76-64 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Henry County upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Wildcats host Carroll County (Carrollton, KY) to clash with the Panthers in a District 31 bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Carroll County lost 74-42 in their recent non-league bout against Walton-Verona (Walton, KY)
Next up, the Bearcats clash with the Louisville Saints HomeSchool Saints (Louisville, KY) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Kentucky Country Day will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Saints go into the bout with a 8-4 record after their 54-53 non-league loss to Valley (Louisville, KY).
