Texas High School Basketball - North Side tops Lake Worth
December 9, 2023: Lake Worth, TX 76135 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the North Side Steers (Fort Worth, TX) and the host Lake Worth Bullfrogs (Lake Worth, TX), saw North Side's basketball squad knock off Lake Worth by a count of 50-41.
With the victory, North Side upgrades its record to 4-7 on the campaign. The Steers host Wyatt (Fort Worth, TX) to play the Chaparrals in a 5A Region I District 6 challenge on Tuesday, December 19. The Chaparrals come into the challenge with a record of 2-11.
Next up, the Bullfrogs play the Benbrook Bobcats (Benbrook, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. Lake Worth will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 6-8 record after their 49-31 non-league loss to Paschal (Fort Worth, TX).
