New York High School Basketball - Niagara-Wheatfield knocked off by Lancaster
December 9, 2023: Sanborn, NY 14132 The Lancaster Legends basketball team scored 48 points and held the host Niagara-Wheatfield Falcons to 40 in the Legends non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Legends now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to The Park School of Buffalo for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12. Lancaster will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 73-64 non-league win over Olmsted (Buffalo, NY). The Pioneers record now stands at 3-1.
The Falcons (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against North Tonawanda (North Tonawanda, NY). The Lumberjacks enter the Section 6 Niagara - Frontier contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, North Tonawanda was defeated by Newfane (Newfane, NY), 58-37, in a non-league contest.
