December 9, 2023: Gallup, NM 87301 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Mesa Vista Trojans (Ojo Caliente, NM) and the host Miyamura Patriots (Gallup, NM), saw Mesa Vista's basketball squad overcome Miyamura by a tally of 68-49.
With the victory, Mesa Vista improves its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Pecos (Pecos, NM) to confront the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 15. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 3-2. Pecos lost 63-55 in their recent non-league challenge against Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM)
Next up, the Patriots confront the Cleveland Storm (Rio Rancho, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 14. Miyamura will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Storm come into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 79-74 non-league win over Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM).
