December 9, 2023: Morris, OK 74445 The Morris Eagles (Morris, OK) basketball knocked off the visiting Wewoka Tigers (Wewoka, OK), 62-51 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Eagles (1-5) will now prepare for their test against Caney Valley (Ramona, OK). The Trojans go into the non-league test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Caney Valley notched a victory over Wyandotte (Wyandotte, OK), 49-33, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Holdenville for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 12. Wewoka will encounter a Wolverines squad coming off a 60-51 non-league win over Hugo (Hugo, OK). The Wolverines record now stands at 5-1.
