Tri-Central Trojans (Sharpsville, IN) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Morristown Yellow Jackets (Morristown, IN), 54-41 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Tri-Central upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Clinton Central (Michigantown, IN) to play the Bulldogs in a Hoosier Heartland bout on Friday, December 15. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 0-4.

Next up, the Yellow Jackets play the South Decatur Cougars (Greensburg, IN) in a Mid-Hoosier bout, on Friday, December 15. Morristown will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 45-40 non-league win over Jac-Cen-Del (Osgood, IN).
