Oklahoma High School Basketball - Pioneer-Pleasant Vale holds off Mulhall-Orlando
December 9, 2023: Orlando, OK 73073 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Pioneer-Pleasant Vale Mustangs (Waukomis, OK) and the host Mulhall-Orlando Panthers (Orlando, OK), saw Pioneer-Pleasant Vale's basketball squad hold off Mulhall-Orlando by a tally of 31-27.
With the victory, Pioneer-Pleasant Vale improves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Drummond (Drummond, OK) to confront the Bulldogs in a Skeltur challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 8-0. Drummond won 54-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Mounds (Mounds, OK)
Next up, the Panthers confront the Coyle Bluejackets (Coyle, OK) in a Cimarron Valley challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. Mulhall-Orlando will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Bluejackets come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 42-31 non-league loss to Dover (Dover, OK).
