December 9, 2023: New York Mills, NY 13417 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the New York Mills Marauders (New York Mills, NY) and the visiting Westmoreland Bulldogs (Westmoreland, NY), saw New York Mills's basketball squad wallop Westmoreland by a tally of 72-41.
With the victory, New York Mills improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Marauders host Poland (Poland, NY) to confront the Tornadoes in a Section 3 Center State IV challenge on Thursday, December 14. The Tornadoes come into the challenge with a record of 1-1.
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Oriskany Redskins (Oriskany, NY) in a Section 3 Center State IV challenge, on Monday, December 11. Westmoreland will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Redskins come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 48-45 league win over Town of Webb (Old Forge, NY).
