California High School Basketball - North nips Sanger
December 9, 2023: Sanger, CA 93657 North Stars (Bakersfield, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Sanger Apaches (Sanger, CA), 59-57 in a non-league bout.
With the win, North upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Stars travel to Fresno Christian (Fresno, CA) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 4-2. Fresno Christian lost 57-45 in their recent non-league bout against Mendota (Mendota, CA)
Next up, the Apaches play the Hanford West Huskies (Hanford, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Sanger will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Huskies go into the bout with a 2-8 record after their 87-51 non-league loss to Central Valley Christian (Visalia, CA).
