Maryland High School Basketball - St. James knocked off by Oakdale
December 9, 2023: Ijamsville, MD 21754 The Oakdale basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting St. James Saints to 52 in the non-league triumph on Saturday.
The now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Urbana for a CMC contest on Tuesday, December 12. Oakdale will battle a Hawks team coming off a 58-57 league loss to Linganore (Frederick, MD). The Hawks record now stands at 1-1.
The Saints (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Mercersburg Academy (Mercersburg, PA). The Blue Storm enter the non-league contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Mercersburg Academy ran past Pennington (Pennington, NJ), 62-56, in a league contest.
