December 9, 2023: Star City, AR 71667 The Valley Springs Tigers (Valley Springs, AR) basketball crushed the host Star City Bulldogs (Star City, AR), 63-40 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Tigers (18-3) will now prepare for their test against Flippin (Flippin, AR). The Bobcats go into the 3A Region 1 test with a 14-4 record.
The Bulldogs now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Clarksville for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 12. Star City will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 43-38 non-league loss to Neosho (Neosho, MO). The Panthers record now stands at 1-10.
