December 9, 2023: Stephenville, TX 76401 The Stephenville Yellow Jackets/Honeybees (Stephenville, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Troy Trojans (Troy, TX), 32-19 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Yellow Jackets/Honeybees (10-5) will now prepare for their test against Venus (Venus, TX). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 12-4 record. In their last test, Venus notched a victory over Jim Ned (Tuscola, TX), 49-40, in a non-league test.
The Trojans now own a 7-5 record. They play next when they host Clifton for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 12. Troy will encounter a Cubs squad coming off a 68-41 non-league win over Hamilton (Hamilton, TX). The Cubs record now stands at 11-2.
