Illinois High School Basketball - Evergreen Park ripped by Abingdon/Avon
December 9, 2023: Abingdon, IL 61410 The Abingdon/Avon Tornadoes basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Evergreen Park Mustangs to 28 in the Tornadoes non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Tornadoes now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Macomb for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 16.
The Mustangs (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Bloom (Chicago Heights, IL). The Blazing Trojan enter the non-league contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, Bloom triumphed over Fenwick (Oak Park, IL), 52-43, in a non-league contest.
