Oklahoma High School Basketball - Empire holds off Amber-Pocasset
December 9, 2023: Amber, OK 73004 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Empire Bulldogs (Duncan, OK) and the host Amber-Pocasset Panthers (Amber, OK), saw Empire's basketball squad hold off Amber-Pocasset by a tally of 48-43.
With the victory, Empire improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Central (Marlow, OK) to confront the Bronchos in a Oilfield challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Bronchos come into the challenge with a record of 3-4. Central lost 32-31 in their recent non-league challenge against Big Pasture (Randlett, OK)
Next up, the Panthers confront the Rush Springs Redskins (Rush Springs, OK) in a Grady County challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. Amber-Pocasset will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Redskins come into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 48-23 non-league win over Grandfield (Grandfield, OK).
