Texas High School Basketball - Denver City tops Andrews
December 9, 2023: Andrews, TX 79714 Denver City Mustangs (Denver City, TX) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Andrews Mustangs (Andrews, TX), 47-35 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Denver City upgrades its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Littlefield (Littlefield, TX) to play the Wildcats in a 3A Region I District 3 bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 8-5. Littlefield lost 57-28 in their recent non-league bout against Farwell (Farwell, TX)
Next up, the Mustangs play the Snyder Tigers (Snyder, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Andrews will attempt to upgrade on its 4-11 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 8-9 record after their 65-38 non-league loss to Levelland (Levelland, TX).
