The Longhorns now sport a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bluff Dale for a 1A Region III District 19 battle on Tuesday, December 12. Gordon will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 39-9 non-league win over Lueders-Avoca (Avoca, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 5-5.
The Jackrabbits (2-10) will now prepare for their battle against Holliday (Holliday, TX). The Eagles come into the 3A Region I District 7 battle with a 7-4 record. In their last battle, Holliday prevailed over Vernon (Vernon, TX), 54-39, in a league battle.
