Texas High School Basketball - Weatherford can't hold off Concordia Lutheran
December 9, 2023: Tomball, TX 77375 The Concordia Lutheran Crusaders basketball team scored 45 points and held the visiting Weatherford Kangaroos to 43 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Crusaders now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Christian Homeschool Sports Ministries for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12. Concordia Lutheran will battle a Crimson Knights team coming off a 67-57 non-league win over Center (Center, TX). The Crimson Knights record now stands at 12-3.
The Kangaroos (9-7) will now prepare for their contest against Trinity (Euless, TX). The Trojans enter the 6A Region I District 3 contest with a 6-6 record. In their last contest, Trinity was nudged by Colleyville Heritage (Colleyville, TX), 43-37, in a non-league contest.
