December 9, 2023: Cross Plains, TX 76443 Cross Plains Buffaloes (Cross Plains, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Robert Lee Steers (Robert Lee, TX), 60-40 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Cross Plains upgrades its record to 11-8 on the season. The Buffaloes travel to Abilene Christian (Abilene, TX) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 2-5. Abilene Christian won 26-20 in their recent non-league bout against Guthrie (Guthrie, TX)
Next up, the Steers clash with the Westbrook Wildcats (Westbrook, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 9. Robert Lee will attempt to upgrade on its 11-4 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 9-5 record after their 72-50 non-league win over Cross Plains (Cross Plains, TX).
