Texas High School Basketball - Ingleside fells Edna
December 9, 2023: Edna, TX 77957 Ingleside Mustangs (Ingleside, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Edna Cowboys (Edna, TX), 45-33 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Ingleside upgrades its record to 13-4 on the season. The Mustangs host West Oso (Corpus Christi, TX) to play the Bears in a 4A Region IV District 30 bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 11-6. West Oso lost 68-48 in their recent non-league bout against United (Laredo, TX)
Next up, the Cowboys play the Hallettsville Brahmas (Hallettsville, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 25 bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Edna will attempt to upgrade on its 11-4 season record. The Brahmas go into the bout with a 14-3 record after their 57-39 league win over Palacios (Palacios, TX).
